Auxilium’s Innovation Studio will soon begin welcoming startups at 311 Main Street, in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art 12,000 sq. ft. office space designed to inspire collaboration and creativity. The new downtown hub features co-working areas, private offices, meeting rooms, and more, available 24/7 for founders. This facility will serve as the home of the Innovation Studio program which is accepting applications now on a rolling basis.

“Worcester is on the rise, and Auxilium will play a vital role in shaping its future as a hub for entrepreneurship,” said Zak Dutton, Executive Director of Auxilium. “The Innovation Studio is built to give founders the time and space to focus on what matters most, building their business and turning big ideas into thriving ventures.”

The Innovation Studio is a flexible residency program designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs develop their products, validate markets, and establish the foundations of scalable companies. The program can extend up to twelve months and provides access to tailored business support, strategic mentorship, and $100,000 in milestone-based funding. The goal is to provide the founders with the support and capital they need to advance through key development stages and emerge as a fundable company ready to grow.

The Studio complements Auxilium’s Accelerator Program, which launched earlier this fall with three growth-stage startups receiving $250,000 each in investment. While the Accelerator focuses on scaling companies ready for expansion, the Innovation Studio supports earlier-stage ventures, providing the runway to refine their ideas, test prototypes, and build traction before pursuing larger rounds of capital.

However, unlike a traditional accelerator with a fixed cohort, Auxilium’s studio operates on a rolling admissions model which gives founders the freedom to plug into the program throughout the year, tailoring the experience to each startup’s own development timeline.  And while the Studio is based in the heart of Worcester’s growing innovation hub, it is not limited to Worcester-based companies. Startups from across the region and beyond are encouraged to apply.

Backed by Rucker Investments, Auxilium was founded to strengthen the innovation landscape in Worcester and serve as a bridge for entrepreneurs from across industries and geographies. The organization’s mission is to empower founders by combining mentorship, workspace, and milestone-driven investment under one roof.

“The Innovation Studio is open to all founders ready to take their next step, whether they are building a tech startup, a healthcare solution, or a consumer product,” added Dutton. “What matters most is their commitment to creating something real.”
