EVENT UPDATE: Cancellations Announced Due to Coronavirus Concerns

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

To our members,

The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce is canceling the remainder of our programming for the month of March.

Those who have registered and paid for the March 19 Business After Hours event at Recess Take 2 should contact Maria Panasian or Linda Salem Pervier to arrange a credit toward another Chamber event. For those who require a refund, please let Maria or Linda know and we will accommodate you as quickly as possible. We hope to reschedule this program and other events to later dates and will keep you posted.

I, and the Chamber staff, recognize both the health and financial challenges this outbreak presents for our member businesses. Accordingly, we are also closely following proposals at the federal and state levels that would potentially provide assistance to both employers and employees and will keep you updated.

In the meantime, we encourage you to follow all best practices and protocols recommended by health care experts seeking to contain the spread of COVID-19. We are lucky in Central Massachusetts and the Commonwealth to have some of the top health care professionals and organizations in the world.

The Chamber is closely monitoring the ongoing situation and is in close communication with local and state leaders as well as health care professionals to provide the best and most up-to-date information for our member businesses and organizations.
