The Chamber has partnered with StateBook, the first online marketplace for economic development and corporate site selection.

StateBook’s proprietary platform includes more than 20,000 data points relevant to site selection decision-making integrated a into state-of-the-art GIS mapping tool that enables professionals to search the data and filter to the locations that can sustainably meet a company’s needs, including workforce, infrastructure, taxes and utility costs, to quality of life measures, such as golf courses and museums.

Users can also compare communities’ data side by side, and create custom reports that include specific data parameters they select for the communities of interest. StateBook then connects professionals directly with the appropriate economic development organizations (EDOs) representing those communities to learn more. StateBook also provides a community profile for every EDO in the United States. When EDOs join StateBook as members, data for their community, aggregated from more than 50 independent sources, is activated on their microsite. EDO members also gain access to a robust content management system that enables them to add their own editorial information, photos, charts and graphs and more to complement the statistical data StateBook has already aggregated for their community.

StateBook shares 50% of the advertising revenue from EDO microsites with its member EDOs. Companies like banks, utilities, law firms, construction companies, engineering firms, developers and more are likely to advertise to get their products and services in front of companies seeking to expand or relocate.
